Above250-300HP you are going to be at risk. 1.8T is about 160hp so doubling that is going to strain reliability. There's plenty of read here on A-zine concerning the max. This should be your 1st goal. There are enough people here who have brought the 1.8T to max while retaining a reliable DD.
