👯 Ktm 790 Adventure Oil Change Interval

All KTM's come from the factory with Mineral Oil in them until their first service. In regards to running in its pretty much each to their own I find. Mine seen 10,000rpm a few times before the 1000km and has always lived around the 7000 area. Oil changed way under the service limits. Longest run was probably 7000 km. Sometimes due to wanting fresh oil before a trip, other times to have fresh oil for winter storage. Always Motorex Powersynt 10/50. Had a Blackstone labs analysis done around 12000 km and all was good. I've topped up the oil twice, for a total 8oz. I don't think that's excessive. There is room to take more off the 790, too. 790 has an oil cooler. 790 is narrower in the middle and feels a little more dirt-bikey when standing. 790 gets much better fuel economy and the engine is quite smooth.
